DJ Taz was incredible. We are huge music nerds and spent hours putting together our perfect playlist. Taz played everything and worked with us to have the best time. First off, the room looked amazing. We upgraded to include some lighting through Silver Sound and Taz set up several up lights around the room. During the ceremony they added an elegant amber glow, and as we moved into the reception Taz had them going crazy that lit the fire and kept the party going. If you want to feel like the most cool couple in the world, have DJ Taz announce you into a room. His MC and microphone skills are sharp and on point. More importantly, he can read a room. Our big entrance into the reception was to Joan Jetts "I Love Rock & Roll". Most weddings weve been to, the couple enters, is announced, their song plays and immediately moves into their first dance. Not Dj Taz. DJ Taz let our entrance song play all the way through the first chorus because our ballroom had stood up and were singing along. So our first entrance as a couple included us and our entire wedding screaming "I Love Rock and Roll" because Taz could read the excitement in the room. Easily one of our best memories of the night. Taz went above and beyond for us for a special request. We are performers, and a week before our wedding we asked Taz if he was able to let us plug a guitar into his system and sing a song. No questions, he set us up and we surprised our guests with a rousing rendition of "Im a Believer", which wouldnt have been possible without Taz. Finally, in the final half hour after our photographer had left, Taz pulled out a camera! He got some incredible shots of us during the final moments of our reception and we cant thank him enough for that. Silver Sound, but more importantly DJ TAZ, is wonderfully professional, timely and an absolute pleasure to work with. We had a perfect day, and Taz is no small part of that perfection. We will be recommending him and Silver Sound every chance we get.

The DJ is a key part of any wedding, and we didn’t take picking ours lightly. We interviewed countless DJs and decided on Silver Sound after the company, and DJ Taz, were independently named by three other of our vendors as the best company & DJ they’ve worked with. DJ Taz did not disappoint!! We compiled a decent list of suggested music and Taz used that as a base for our music style/taste…there wasn’t a song on all night that we didn’t like. We got married NYE and it is safe to say that the dance floor was packed all night and Taz even provided a special countdown. Multiple guest, and even venue staff said that it was the best DJ they’ve experience at a wedding. They were kind enough to play a few encore songs for us as our party couldn’t get enough! We also used Silver Sound for our photo booth which was a hit. They provided us with a beautiful leather-bound book with copy’s of all of the pictures as well as a USB of the originals. Their up-lighting also made our venue pop!

We had the privilege of having Taz Sellers of Silver Sound as our DJ and MC for our wedding on October 12th. I have known Taz for over 20 years. He is our friend, our professional brother, and the finest master at his craft. Catherine and I had our ceremony by the ponds…a beautiful setting where Taz coordinated the audio for the officiant, our readers and musical changes…all of which were on point. As we manage wedding events every week at the Manor House, we did not want the usual music we hear repeatedly. Instead, we sought to create our own unique playlist for the different stages throughout the celebration. Taz’s flexibility and suggestions were very much appreciated. We were lucky enough to have Taz DJ our wedding. We were overwhelmed by all the options out there, but after reading the reviews on TAZ and a 15 min introductory call we new we had our guy. He arrived on time, communication was great leading up to the wedding. We had a very diverse crowd, he did a great job of mixing up the music and we danced all night. I loved the music Taz chose to start the ceremony and for the bridal party to walk down the asisle to. He did a great job of getting everyone up and dancing during the reception. The only thing that I would change would be to start playing more upbeat music earlier than 8PM. Taz has a great personality and is a fun DJ. We would highly recommend him.

Taz was incredible! The ceremony music flowed beautifully into our cocktail hour. Our reception was so much fun and we owe a lot of that to Taz. He kept people dancing all night long and quickly helped make a transition into our anniversary dance when we asked him literally last minute to change the time of it. He was so easy to work with, used our song requests, and gave us a wide variety of music to dance to. Taz was phenomenal!!! Taz got very little input from me as I am from out of town and the input I did give was last minute and a little late to be honest. Despite this, Taz assured me everything was set. The day of -- my family added some twists and turns -- my brother gave a speech in a costume (needed theme music) -- and Taz adapted and seemed truly excited to make adjustments. Also, my family is a group of singers and added little songs to me and my husband -- Taz provided them with the microphones and the sound quality was perfect. I am still getting comments that this is the most fun wedding my friends and family have been to -- this is what I truly hoped for on our wedding day and I cannot thank Taz enough as I know he played such an important part in that. I have been to so many weddings where the music has been a downer -- NOT MINE. This was an easy choice and as an out of town bride, it was made easy for me.

If I gave a full review of how amazing Taz was on our wedding day, Id go over the character limit in this box and need more space. Simply put, Taz was perfect. So many things went awry on our wedding day (minor things that were no big deal), but Taz was literally perfect from start to finish. My goal for my wedding was to give a romantic vibe during the first half and then a wild party vibe for the second half. I initially wanted to hire a string quartet for my cocktail hour and dinner, but Taz played all of the instrumental songs I had requested and set the perfect ambiance. No extra string quartet expense needed - Taz nailed it. After dinner, Taz very creatively got everyone onto the dance floor and the party only got better from there. He played all of our requested dancing songs and added in others to really give it a party vibe. Taz single-handedly kept that crowd alive until the very last song. Taz also went above and beyond to make accommodations for Stewart and Lois Walden (family friends who performed our dance songs live). This was a request I made a month or so before our date - something Taz was not contractually required to arrange. Nonetheless, Taz made everything happen without batting an eye. Once we were seated for dinner, Lois immediately came up to me to rave about Tazs professionalism and excellence. I got SO many compliments on Taz, including a bride-to-be who specifically asked for Tazs information for her own upcoming wedding. Several people commented that theyve never been to a wedding where everyone danced the entire night. Thank you so much for making our wedding amazing and creating memories that will last us a lifetime!!
