I can’t say enough about the quality of service/performance that DJ Michael Kane brought to our wedding! In the days leading up to the wedding, the online portal was causing some serious confusion and concerns that he had input some of the notes incorrectly and wasn’t understanding what we were asking, but he was very responsive and reassuring that he had a perfect understanding of our needs. He was very communicative and responsive on the day of the wedding and then when we arrived at the venue, he was already completely setup and had sought us both out immediately to go over the plan to ensure that we knew the plan was completely understood. This was extremely helpful and stress-relieving knowing we were all on the same page. He was professional in both appearance and in how he carried hisself. He constantly checked in with us throughout the reception prior to each scheduled event to ensure that, not only were we ready for the next thing, but that he had everything ready to go. During one portion when the bride was to make a dedication speech to her mother, the batteries in the wireless mic died and without missing a beat, he had it ready to go in seconds and avoided any awkward delays that could have easily occurred. He was highly recommended by the venue and I can see why, he was absolutely amazing! He kept the dance floor busy and was very engaging and extremely clear when giving instructions for the attendees. We would recommend him to ANYONE, and if we had to do it all over again we would absolutely have chosen him again. 10/10 for sure. We cannot emphasize enough how amazing Michael was! Everything from our initial inquiry call to the big day went so smooth and effortless. He even followed up with us the day after our wedding with a kind message and candid photos that he had snapped. Michael went above and beyond to make our day so special. He is easy to contact, quick and responsive to communication, kind, friendly, funny, charismatic, and handled last-minute changes easily with no hassle. Unlike most vendors – you DO NOT need to repeat requests, information, or questions with Michael. He is a strong listener, attentive, and detail oriented. He pronounced everyone’s names effortlessly (and we had some unusual ones!), he kept our guests dancing all night, played all of our requested songs, and matched our music tastes and expectations perfectly. All of our guests – like us – had nothing but good things to say about our DJ Michael. We NEVER write reviews – but HAD TO for Michael. We would recommend Michael for anyone looking for a DJ / MC for their event – especially a wedding! When Eric and I began the search for a Wedding DJ, our number one target was to find the "least wedding of the wedding DJs" and Michael described himself as that exactly. On the day of, Michael was incredibly professional and always ready to go. After being asked LOTS of questions that day, both Eric and I were pretty fatigued with decision making. I had at least a half of my wedding guest comment something like “Did Jesse make this play list? It’s flowing so well”. Of course I told THEM that I did but for everyone HERE considering finding a DJ I’ll tell you the truth. Michael was absolutely fantastic! My wife and I aren’t big “current/pop” music folks so making a song list was a bit difficult, but we gave Michael a general idea/list of genres that our average guest may like and he hit it out of the park. He handled the ceremony, cocktails hour and the reception perfectly which were all at differ locations at the Venue without an issue. He made something that was a extremely anxiety inducing into the absolute best possibly outcome that I could ask for at our wedding. He is extremely calm and collective which made someone who’s very high strung (such as myself) feel at such ease. Thank you Michael. You really are a master of this art and g-d willing I will not have another wedding, but I were to you’d be the DJ again! Michael was an excellent DJ. He was super personable and clear with his plan on the phone with us leading up to the wedding day. There were zero audio issues during the ceremony, cocktail hour and reception. We had some last minute adjustments and he adapted with no issue at all. We had two performances during our reception and Michael was super accommodating to those requests. Even when we threw him a song that he didnt have on his playlist, he added it in seamlessly. He interacted with the crowd well and kept the party going until the very last song. There were several occasions where I exited the dance floor and looked back to see the crowd jumping, singing and dancing with excitement. So many of our guests said they had such a great time, and I know the DJ is a big part of that. I was so happy it was my wedding.

Michael Kane was one of the best vendors we could have chosen for our wedding. He was so responsive and organized. He is a dynamic personality especially over the phone. I was a very anxious bride and he definitely went out of his way to assure everything went to plan. He communicated with me and we were able to form out a table time together even before my wedding coordinator was able to which relieved a lot of stress. The music was excellent all night, I don’t think we ever had someone not dancing on the dance floor. He kept our families engaged. Michael Kane was so amazing! We were instantly reassured by him during our planning process. He was so professional and responsive to our hopes and goals. On our wedding day, he was exactly the presence we needed! He was positive but calm, helpful, remembered everyones name, including the very difficult to pronounce Irish names of our guests. Perfect in every single way!! We gave Michael just a few preferred music genres and age groups of guests, and he made absolute magic with that! Our venue the Ballroom at Ellis Preserve recommended Silver Sounds as they have worked there many times. We chose Michael Kane as our wedding DJ since he had a lot of great reviews and experience and a nice announcing voice on the sample clip on the website. Throughout the process, Michael was professional, organized, kind, flexible and reliable. This was a huge plus, especially since wedding planning can get very stressful! He helped us figure out our timeline in detail and made a lot of great suggestions on what does and doesnt work. He was very good at getting our crowd excited and dancing all night! Michael was super easy to work with and was great about taking the limited directions I gave him and some how translating it into exactly what I envisioned. It was very important to me that I was able to relax on my wedding day and not be asked to make a bunch of decisions or give directions, Michael worked with all of my vendors to make things seamless. He coordinated dance sets in-between courses with my caterer and made sure my photographers were ready and available to capture the big moments before he announced a speech or dance. Highly recommend Michael, he was extremely helpful for planning and gave his opinions of what he has seen work well to help me make decisions leading up to the wedding day. Working with Michael was exceptional from the leadup and planning, all the way through to the day of! He was extremely professional and knowledgeable throughout the whole process. He allowed us to personalize our day, but also gave recommendations based on his experience when we asked. I had 5 sets of paired bridesmaids and groomsmen, and I wanted a unique song played for each of their entrances into the reception. I knew this was a bit of an eccentric request, but Michael did it with a smile and it was executed perfectly! I was especially impressed by his choice of music for dinner time, as I didnt give him any suggestions ahead of time. All of my guests commented on how natural it was and how well the music enhanced the ambiance at dinner. For the reception, I came up with a small suggested list of songs and Michael filled in the rest. Everyone thought I made the entire playlist because all of his picks flowed perfectly and were exactly what I would have chosen! Michael Kane was our DJ at HollyHedge Estate in June of 2022 and we truly couldn’t have asked for better!! In our email and phone correspondence leading up the wedding we talked about some of the genres and eras we and our guests liked and it felt like Michael just understood us and our tastes instantly. My husband and I are horribly indecisive and needed a little extra time to finalize some of our music choices and Michael was extremely accommodating and patient with us. And then on the day itself he truly knocked it out of the park. Multiple guests told us he is “the best DJ they’ve ever heard”. One of my bridesmaids said that Michael was too good because she needed a break as her feet were literally bleeding because he played “banger after banger”. Before our more obscure ska and pop punk songs, our guests were saying “oh shit!” for each one. Many of the greatest dance moments of the night were Michael riffing off of a few suggestions we had and reading our crowd. We had both a small mosh pit and a skank pit on the dance floor, as well as Whitney Houston and The Beatles for the older crowd. Not only that but he also knows the venue and other preferred vendors so well. He and our photographer kept us on a very efficient timeline making sure we maximized dance time. He’s also extremely professional, friendly, and an all around great person to have around on your big day. To sum up, I’d recommend Michael Kane to anyone who has the time to listen and would 100% love to hear him work his magic again and again!

Michael did a PHENOMENAL job for our reception! He played every song we requested and the songs he selected himself were great, and had a lot of our guests excitedly recognizing and enjoying them! The transitions between songs were also seamless - there was never a moment where it felt abrupt going from one song to the next, and even a few of our guests commented on it. DJ Michael Kane really did a stellar job with our wedding! He was so helpful throughout the planning process in order to figure out what kind of sound we wanted from cocktail hour to the last dance of the night. His expertise helped us plan what type of musical vibe we wanted to give off for each section of the night in order to capitalize on the dance party portion of the reception. He was very personable on the day of as well with wrangling our 20+ bridal party and making sure everyone knew what to do and where to go. He knew the perfect amount of MCing to get the dancefloor filled while not being overbearing or hogging the sound space over the music itself. He also did a great job with keeping the music times reasonable -- trust me that your first dance feels a lot longer than 2 minutes when all eyes are on you and your new spouse! I would highly highly recommend Michael Kane for your wedding to make it a night to remember!

He was very professional and did a wonderful job of incorporating the songs that we asked for and finding complementary songs that fit our tone and kept everyone on the dance floor the whole night! Literally the only time people stopped dancing was when the cake was served - other than that, the dance floor was always full! Our guests of all ages loved the music and we really enjoyed how much input we had in the process of choosing songs. DJ Michael Kane was great!! My wife and I were worried since we never hired a DJ before. DJ Michael Kane put that worry to ease when he called and introduced himself and had a conversation before we booked. Then again a few days before the wedding he called and went over every detail from ceremony songs to cocktail hours the actual wedding reception. It all went off without missing a beat. He had every song we requested and even had the eagles fight song when the eagles won when we requested that. We asked DJ Kane to play songs would just make our guest dance, and everyone was on the floor the entire time. His introductions as the wedding party were dead on and we had some long greek names in the wedding. We allowed the guest to make request and every single person that attended our wedding raved about DJ Michael Kane. If we ever have the need for another DJ he will be the first call I will make, and have already referred him to a few other couples who are getting married. My wife and I are so glad DJ Michael Kane DJed for our wedding!!

Michael was amazing! Having that phone conversation beforehand really helped with making sure that the flow and timing of our reception went as smoothly as possible. He also made sure that he knew how to pronounce all the names of our bridal party. And during our reception, he definitely exceeded my expectations. He made sure to play all the songs we put on our playlist builder. I had a few cultural songs on there, and he was able to find them. My husband had mentioned he liked how Michael had blended/mixed all the songs. I know I definitely noticed that all the songs led into each other very well. And my guests! Im still getting compliments on how great my DJ was! Once I got started dancing, I didnt want to leave the dance floor. Michael was great to work with. Michael was a pleasure to work with.

Michael was absolutely fantastic! My wife and I are so happy we picked SilverSound and DJ Michael Kane. After we made our decision and booked Michael, he called us and we knew instantly we had made the right decision. He is so professional about the process, and also made if fun for us to talk about how we wanted the night to flow. My wife and I have an extremely wide range of musical tastes and wanted to get both of our themes in the wedding. Michael understood what we wanted and put together a great mix and vibe for the night. We weren’t sure how many of our guests would get on the dance floor but Michael had them all on their feet dancing the night away. We didn’t have many requests but he handled the ones we did have flawlessly and made them fit into the flow without breaking up everyone’s rythme. He did an amazing job.
