Marty Smith was a fantastic DJ! He made sure my husband and I had everything we needed, checking in with us every step of the process. Our meeting with Marty before the wedding was so much fun—he made planning enjoyable, helping us work through any questions we had. On our wedding night, he had the dance floor packed with amazing music. Everyone was dancing and having a great time. Marty was incredibly easy to talk to and it truly was a night to remember. We would love to work with DJ Marty Smith and Silver Sound again in the future!

Marty was fantastic! Typically, you will never find me on the dance floor, but with Marty’s energy, song selections, and timing, I was on the dance floor the entire night (in addition to all the other guests). He was organized and professional. He was able to last minute download a song so my maids of honor could perform a surprise rap-style toast. Multiple guests came up to me throughout the night commenting on how awesome the DJ was. I would recommend Marty and silver sounds to everyone.

We felt completely at ease with him and appreciated how approachable and responsive he was to any questions or concerns we had. Music was one of my top priorities for our wedding and Marty was amazing at every step of this process. He DJ’d my sisters wedding and I knew I had to book him for mine. He made himself available for us and was so communicative and easy going, he really helped elevate our wedding. Our guests were an older crowd and he still got everyone up and dancing. DJ Marty Smith was awesome! He was down to earth and easy to talk to during our planning process. He understood what we were looking for- some fun wedding classics to start, but more of a dance floor club vibe later in the evening. He put up awesome uplighting that gave the room great vibes, and his music was on point all night. We wanted different songs for each member of the bridal partys entrance, and he totally understood the assignment- it ended up being just as hilarious as we hoped. Marty was amazing! He really took the time to go over all my ideas and make them a reality. He was so willing to do everything possible to make my wedding day as special as could be. He really saw my vision and brought it to life. He got the whole crowd at the wedding dancing and having a great time! Everyone commented on how awesome the music selection was and it was all because of Martys talent of reading the room and playing songs that fit the crowd!! Marty is such a nice guy and took extra time to meet with me and my day of coordinator to ensure the wedding ran smoothly. He even helped me surprise my now husband with a special song for him to walk in to. Marty is extremely professional and takes his art very seriously but also knows how to make all the guests feel relaxed and have a great time. It was like having a good friend there celebrating our day with us rather than a stranger, we couldnt have asked for a better DJ!

DJ Marty Smith was such a blast at our wedding! From the first time we spoke with him, we felt we could trust him with everything from the ceremony to the dancing. He was very open and honest every time we had a question for him. My venue had different rooms for the ceremony, cocktail hour, dinner, and dancing and he was prepared for all of them. He even bought new speakers and went on a venue tour to make sure, which made us feel very taken care of. Our dinner ran late so we had a shorter amount of time for dancing but he honored our must-have list and that was special. His personality is so fun and professional and we really had a great time with him!

Marty was WONDERFUL!! The afternoon before our wedding I received a call from Silversound that our DJ as in the hospital and would not be able to be at our wedding!! BUT, they had a replacement for us, Marty. Marty called me within an hour and we touched base again later that afternoon. Thankfully I had used the Silversound website and had lots of details already entered. With less than 24 hour’s notice, Marty paid attention to all the details we had listed and reassured us that he would take care of everything. Marty made sure our wedding and reception music were just as we had planned. We had a list of our guests wedding songs to be played during dinner. He took it a step farther and invited the guests to dance during their song. It was so fun to hear the song and see which couple got up to dance. He even played the song from his wedding and we shared a dance. The dance floor was always full during the reception with a great mix of songs for all ages!! What a wonderful personality and energy Marty brought to our wedding and reception. He definitely helped to make our day perfect and memorable. Thank you Marty and Silversound!!!

Melissa and I were extremely pleased with Marty as our DJ. During our first meeting, over the phone, Marty went over everything regarding our reception, our song list, pronunciation of names and a general timeline of the reception. After the meeting we felt very comfortable and knew that we were in good hands. At the reception Marty took a few minutes out of his set up time to introduce himself to us. Before introductions Marty met with the bridal party and went over introductions, lined us up in correct order and confirmed name pronunciations one last time. During dinner and the reception Marty played all of the right songs, kept our guests on the dance floor and made our reception so much fun!! Marty was very professional, in his demeanor and appearance, he pronounced all of the names correctly, and was just an overall great guy to work with. Not only was Marty great to work with, but everyone we had interaction with at Silver Sound was amazing. We would definitely recommend Silver Sound Entertainment, as well as Marty Smith as the DJ, to anyone looking for entertainment for an event. Also, the photo booth was a huge hit as well!!!

I would not hesitate to hire DJ Marty 100x over! He was set up well before the start of our wedding ceremony. DJ Marty and our day of wedding coordinator (who was a last minute switch) worked seamlessly together. Prior to our wedding date, we created a timeline together and on our wedding day he continuously checked in to make sure we were ready for the next part of the night. What is there not to say... Marty was INCREDIBLE!! The only negative thing is I wish he could have played longer (not his decision, the venues)! Marty timed the ceremony songs perfectly, and music was just right during cocktail hour! Marty went above and beyond to make sure that he had enough speakers and microphones to accommodate the venues new setup due to COVID-19. He also brought out his turntable set and it was AMAZING!! He played great songs as we didnt give him a ton of guidance beyond ceremony songs. We decided on the closing song together that night. And he also took me and my familys love of the Steelers and recommended Renegade to be played as our walk out song and I will NEVER forget that! Marty made the night with his energy, song selections, and charisma! As he said himself to me, oh we are going to party when we can, its 2020 and boy did he make that happen!! If you want an amazing DJ thatll go above and beyond to make your wedding night, or party PERFECT then you need to book Marty!!!

Marty did a fantastic job for our wedding and we would recommend him to anyone. He was the DJ at one of my groomsmens wedding about a year prior and we knew right then we needed to use him too. Marty really went above and beyond for me and my husband. He assured us from the beginning that our vision was his goal and took the time to go through the song list with us. My husband and I were very specific with what songs we wanted and at what time throughout the wedding, and Marty NAILED it. Something to highlight about Marty specifically, is the time that he takes for his clients. He makes sure that he knows exactly what they are looking for executes it. One of my favorite memories was after the ceremony while getting bridal party photos done- I could hear the exact songs we selected being played during cocktail hour- which made getting our bridal party photos done even more dream-like and exciting! Marty also really read the crowd and handpicked some classics that would get the party going. Let me just start by saying that my husband and I were a bit concerned about not having guests dancing at our wedding... thanks to Marty, this ended up being very far from true! His high energy level and professional manner kept the party going all night at our wedding. Right off the bat, Marty had the crowd on the dance floor (even before dinner was served). He got a good feel for the crowds vibe right away and continued to play song after song that had all of our guests staying out on the dance floor throughout the night. He did an excellent job of sticking to the playlist my husband and I had created, as well as adding in his own selection of songs that fit the vibe perfectly. In addition to keeping the party going, he was an excellent MC and extremely helpful in keeping the flow of our wedding timeline. Marty was also very professional, always checking in with us first when suggesting songs or making adjustements to the timeline throughout the night accordingly. He delivered exactly what he had promised when he initially booked him, which we were so pleased about. Marty exceeded all of our expectations for a DJ and was a big contributing factor making our wedding a success! We cannot recommend Marty enough.

I’m sorry this is such a late review but I just HAVE to share how absolutely incredible of a DJ Marty was for my wedding on September 2nd 2018. He was so responsive to emails, helped me plan every step of the reception, and kept people on the dance floor ALL NIGHT. Seriously, he was one of the highlights of the whole wedding. Everyone came up to me later and said how much fun they had, and Marty was definitely the main reason!! I’m currently recommending him to a friend who’s getting married :) if you’re going with Silver Sound, you have to pick him!!!!!

Marty did an amazing job with our wedding, and we are so happy we selected him as our DJ! We had a lot of requests, and Marty did an awesome job of playing what we wanted, as well as filling in other songs that were totally in line with what we like! He also did a great job of communicating with our venue and other vendors. He was incredibly willing to help and organized calls before the day to make sure everything was set-up and ready to go just how we wanted it! We were super impressed with Marty, and judging by every single one of our guests out on the dance floor, he truly did an awesome job!

Marty was great for our wedding on 06/02/2018. He was very flexible as the wedding was outdoors and the weather was not holding up but Marty sacrificed his shoes and all to make it a great night. He met all my requests when it came to music choice which dancing and having fun was my t fop priority. He was able to feel the crowd out and I received countless compliments on the dj and music choices. Marty even sang to us as our last songand when the music had to be turned off due to noise
