Kevin was unbelievable. We met him at a local bridal expo where he was such a joy to talk to. We instantly felt his warmth and fun personality, and hoped that if we booked him, hed deliver on that first impression - and boy did he! On the day before our wedding (which was mayhem - wonderful, beautiful mayhem) I forgot to hit send on an email I drafted to Kevin, which contained our final decisions for special songs (first dances, etc.) This unsent email also contained the wedding party introduction plan and songs, as well as the wedding party names list. I completely left Kev hanging! On the day of the wedding, just post-ceremony and during pictures/cocktail hour prior to the reception, Kev sat me down for 5 minutes and took notes on what I needed. I gave him all the information for the songs and intros and other fun events we had planned for the reception. His energy was incredible - he was so kind and excited for us and wasnt phased by last-minute-ness of the situation. He was a total pro. Our intros, dances, toasts, blessing, garter/bouquet toss, cake cutting, etc., etc., EVERYTHING went perfectly thanks to Kev. He was fantastic on the mic and kept the crowd alive - people danced all night! He played all our key songs and made some fun mixes too, which made it feel more like a party, than just our favorite playlist. It. was. awesome. We were so stinkin blessed to have had DJ Kevin Compton be part of our special day. We will remain grateful for life that our wedding was so fun, largely thanks to this guy. Thanks to Kev and the whole Silver Sound crew that made everything so easy, from booking to planning to dancing our heads off - it was a dream!
