Working with DJ Paul Acker was great! Leading up to the wedding Paul was in touch with us four or five times to make sure that all of our details were clearly presented in the Silver Sound planning tools. His communication was clear, and he was always responsive. On the evening our guests had an amazing time, he was great about taking song requests maintaining the vibe we were looking for. John provided an exceptional experience for our Wedding. The ceremony sound was perfect, ensuring that every word was clearly heard. My dad was particularly impressed with the quality of the sound, which was a testament to Johns professional setup and attention to detail. John went above and beyond by seamlessly arranging a special song that my brother had chosen to play on his guitar. His ability to integrate this personal touch was greatly appreciated. As the father of three daughters, I have been very blessed and involved with all three daughters weddings and their music. I have also been exposed to many DJs over the past 5 years with other weddings of family and friends. Paul Evans and his associate Josh did an absolutely fantastic job. I would strongly recommend Paul and Silver Sound. As soon as we selected Paul, I knew he was on top of everything to do with the sound of the couples big day....from the outside ceremony (we had guitar player and singer, as well as the officiant), to the cocktail hour and dinner music...and finally the music for the party! Paul played all the best dance and party tunes and kept us dancing all night ! Three months later and people are still talking about the dancing and wonderful celebration. These guys are true professionals.

From the start of the planning process Vaughn gave good recommendations and great input. Leading up to the wedding Vaughn met with us several times and whenever we would reach out he was very quick to get back to us. Everything was on time and stayed on track for the night. The guests were dancing right away with everyone loving the music selection and variety. We had a somewhat older crowd so the classic hits were fantastic, this was one of the main reasons we chose Vaughn. He did a really great job and was a pleasure to work with. Vaughn has such a charismatic personality and great attitude that made everything easy and fun! I would Highly Recommend DJ Vaughn Walter if you want a great celebration!

I cant say enough good things about Todd Frederick and Silver Sound! First of all, their online client interface is easy to use for payments, day-of timeline, and compiling playlists. Their prices are reasonable. And above all, their DJs are wonderful! We worked with Todd Frederick based on his extensive event experience, and we would recommend him to anyone. He is super responsive whether by phone or email, professional, has a great personality, and a smooth presentation "on air". We appreciated his working with us on our somewhat customized first dance song (an abridged Led Zeppelin song) and our obscure entrance music, which came from a movie soundtrack. The sound system was great - good sound quality and volume. Our guests appreciated his outstanding selection of dance songs - he kept the dance floor packed all night long! We cant recommend Silver Sound and DJ Todd Frederick highly enough!!!

We could not have had a better DJ than Paul. He was professional and so pleasant to work with! He was on cue with all our music choices from our prelude to our reception introduction and until our cake cutting. We did not have song choices for our parents reception introduction and for our cake cutting, but Paul gave us the best suggestions for both of those events. On top of that, he was intuitive and he knew our style of music. It was so nice to meet Paul in person prior to our wedding day to ensure he had the correct versions of the songs we selected and to answer any questions that we may have had. We did not know what to expect when we hired a wedding DJ, but we do know that we made the best choice by hiring Paul as our DJ. He even merengued with the bride that evening! Thank you Paul!

Let me just start by saying that my husband and I were a bit concerned about not having guests dancing at our wedding... thanks to Marty, this ended up being very far from true! His high energy level and professional manner kept the party going all night at our wedding. Right off the bat, Marty had the crowd on the dance floor (even before dinner was served). He got a good feel for the crowds vibe right away and continued to play song after song that had all of our guests staying out on the dance floor throughout the night. He did an excellent job of sticking to the playlist my husband and I had created, as well as adding in his own selection of songs that fit the vibe perfectly. In addition to keeping the party going, he was an excellent MC and extremely helpful in keeping the flow of our wedding timeline. Marty was also very professional, always checking in with us first when suggesting songs or making adjustements to the timeline throughout the night accordingly. He delivered exactly what he had promised when he initially booked him, which we were so pleased about. Marty exceeded all of our expectations for a DJ and was a big contributing factor making our wedding a success! We cannot recommend Marty enough.

Paul Acker was a joy to work with! He had worked at our venue (The Washington at Historic Yellow Springs) over 25 times, so we knew we were in good hands. Paul was prompt in responding to emails and set up phone calls leading up to the big day to ensure we were on the same page with musical choices, locations, and timeline. Silver Sound also provides a website where you can upload your timeline, vendor contact information, and playlist in advance. This gave us peace of mind! On the wedding day, Paul arrived early, setting up mics and speakers in various areas (the ceremony set up, cocktail hour, and reception). Everything was seamless. You could tell he really took the time to make sure everything went exactly as planned. I also noticed during the reception that he could really read the audience and make adjustments as needed (to the types of songs, volume, etc). Im happy to say that the dance floor was packed throughout the night. The last song in particular had everyone and I mean EVERYONE out there. Even people who claim they never dance. I consider that a great success and highly recommend Silver Sound and Paul!

We had the best wedding reception!! When interviewing Dan, we asked him to make sure people were getting up to dance. That is exactly what Dan got everyone to do. I received so many comments from friends and family about what a good time people had at the reception. That was because Dan got people up dancing. The music selection was perfect. He started with popular songs to get the folks moving, then eventually change the pace to get the older folks involved as well as keeping the younger 20 something generation going. Very up beet music. Also, Dan incorporated the songs we selected for him to play. Dan knows how to read the crowd. He is personable and professional. He did an excellent job with introducing the wedding party. He took charge of that and I didnt have to worry about a thing. During cocktails, Dan had the appropriate music playing. We just followed his suggestion on that one. This is the second wedding that we have been to where Dan was the DJ. I look forward to going to the third and fourth wedding if the opportunity presents it.

We chose Kevin after meeting him in person because he seemed highly knowledgeable, organized, and creative. Kevin was awesome during the planning stages. He agreed to meet me at my venue about a month prior to the wedding to go over logistics, and he was enthusiastic and built a plan within moments of looking at the ceremony and reception spaces. He was able to give me song suggestions that were absolutely perfect that I wouldnt have come up with on my own. He arrived early on the day of our wedding with everything ready to go. He made the room look amazing with special lighting. Kevin read the energy of the room perfectly during the party, appealing to all our mid-20s friends as well as our more senior family members. One of my guests plans to use him at their wedding next year, and I cant wait to go because I know itll be a GREAT party :) Many thanks to Kevin and Silver Sound Entertainment.
